Ken Kamler was the only doctor on the mountain during the 1996 Everest Disaster; where a two day storm blew in, resulting in the death of 12 mountaineers. Ken's 2008, 22 minute presentation includes the story of one man's ability to withstand a night and two days in Everest's death zone. He deals with snowblindness, frostbite and hypothermia, and is the first person to hear Beck Weathers death defying story of how Beck got up from his death bed after two days and one night on the mountain in the storm and stumbled his way back down to the camp. This was after other climbers had walked passed Beck on their way off the mountain, believing he was already dead.
