We will occupy have our own area at the hall - the old stables - with 6 rooms (2 rooms with 2 beds, 3 rooms with 4 beds and 1 room with 6 beds, sleeping up to 22 people in total). Depending on final numbers you will most likely be sharing with one or two other people, unless you choose to be sociable and opt for 'big dorm' with up to 5 other people. Each room has a sink and there are showers and toilets too. There are showers, toilets, a kitchen with tables and ‘hang-out’ area for socialising. Frequently Asked Questions
Solo-friendly - For us this means that the majority of our guests do not know anyone else at the event before they arrive. The activities over the weekend are a great way to try new things and make new friends.
Attending alone - the majority of people attend by themselves and so everyone is in the same boat (almost literally when we paddle to the pub!).
Clothing or equipment - any specialist equipment for activities provided. If you have walking boots and/or an outdoor jacket then please bring them, otherwise a pair of trainers and a coat will be just fine.
Experience - you do not need prior experience for the activities - most people won't have done the activities before and the instructors and guides will help everyone through.
